Cultural Tourism and Private Functions

The incredible history of this area and the vitality of the flourishing Slocan valley have so much to offer visitors and residents alike.  We feel so blessed to live here and to be nourished by this land and its ancestors and we really enjoy introducing others to the magic of this place in fun and engaging ways.

Come join us around the fire with bannock and elk meat, let us introduce you to an elder of this place and hear her story.  Take a tour of an ancient archeological village site belonging to the Sinixt ancestors who have inhabited this valley for at least 12000years!

Join us for an afternoon of games and activities that help you feel connected to the land and each other or stay longer and sleep soundly in a tipi or wall tent and rise to the greeting of birdsong on our beautiful 7-acre site within walking distance of the Little Slocan River. We have lots to offer and are waiting for you!
